Below the Belt is a cheeky adult variety show, hosted by the Baroness, that takes an irreverent and risqué look at sex, love and celebritydom in South Africa. Each episode saw the Baroness immerse herself into alternate sexual lifestyles in a mock investigative-journalism style. The last segment each week featured candid interview with South African celebrities, where the Baroness unashamedly asks the questions that we would never dare to ask ourselves.

This series quadrupled the viewership in the late night time slot of 22h30 in South Africa and garnered a larger audience then Sex and the City in the country, generating a huge amount of publicity in print and online media. The 13 part series was sold and broadcast in Australia and Germany.

I was Series Producer and Director on the project and took it through the edit. The budget was incredibly low, so we had to complete filming for the 13-part series in 16 days. The series did incredibly well in South Africa an achieved a cult following.
