Win a Home is South Africa’s premier interior design reality TV competition, with five seasons produced to date. The 13 part series follows the journey of three competing design contestant pairs as they convert three identical white-box apartments or cluster homes into designer living spaces, one room at a time.

The Design Duos battle it out, room challenge by room challenge, in a bid to claim the title as South Africa’s best emerging interior designers. There are two prizes up for grabs. The first is the Judges Choice Prize; where a panel of expert judges decide on a winning team who receives a R100 000 cash prize and the accolade of best designers. Then the public also have their say and vote online for their favourite Design Duo, resulting in the Viewer’s Choice Prize of R20 000 to the Duo.

By voting online, the viewer stands a chance to win the Grand Prize; their choice of one of the fully furnished homes as completed by the Design Duos.

It has been rewarding being part of this series and seeing the interior design careers of the contestants taking off, as well as the life-changing effect of giving five winners brand new fully furnished homes.
