I am a London-based Series Producer (Showrunner), Director and Edit Producer with over 3 decades of television experience, specialising in reality series, dating shows, fact ent, documentary and lifestyle programming.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, television has been my passion since I was a child. I started film and video studies in junior school and had done the camerawork and editing on my first broadcast segment before my 19^th birthday.

In my earlier years in the industry, I worked on some unconventional documentaries and series produced and directed the off-beat late night series Below the Belt, which garnered a cult following in South Africa, Australia and Germany. In 2008 I started producing and directing for South Africa’s leading lifestyle, design and celebrity program; Top Billing which allowed me to travel the world extensively.

Since 2014 the same production company entrusted me with their new projects. I was Series Producer and Director on cooking travelogue Hayden Quinn South Africa, with the popular Masterchef Australia contestant as host. In 2015 I helped create and develop the successful daily live chat show Afternoon Express as Series Producer and was Executive Producer for leading Afrikaans lifestyle show Pasella in 2016.

Between 2015 and 2020 I Series Produced two seasons of reality series Presenter Search on 3 (an ‘Idols’ style talent search show looking for new television hosts) and five seasons of interior design reality series Win a Home (similar to ‘The Great Interior Design Challenge’ / ‘Interior Design Masters’ but with a viewer winning their choice of the homes completed by the contestants). Two seasons of this format were re-purposed for Amazon Prime as My Design Rules. I also directed three seasons of celebrity reality series Tropika Island of Treasure in the Seychelles, the Maldives and the island of Curaçao and took two of those seasons through post as Series Edit Producer.

In 2019 I Series Produced a show called The Next Brand Ambassador which had a format comparable to ‘The Apprentice’ but in this case the competition was a search for young aspiring marketing and brand building gurus.

Since relocating to London in 2020, I have worked on many projects, both on location and in the edit.
Highlights include:

– Senior Host Producer to Tori Spelling on location in Malta and also Edit Producer on Love at First Lie for MTV, produced by Lime Pictures.
– Edit Producer on season 1 & 2 of 90 Day Fiancé UK for Discovery+, produced by CPL.
– Edit Producer on Go Hard or Go Home for BBC Three, produced by Wall to Wall.
– Series Producer (from development to post) on a new entrepreneurial reality series Ready Set StartUP for Amazon Prime Video.
